The Holland M. Ware Charitable Foundation

The Holland M. Ware Charitable Foundation was established on August 25, 2000 to promote the prevention of cruelty to animals, assist communities in the care of needy animals, and support state and local law enforcement agencies in the prosecution of animal cruelty cases.  Founded by Holland M. Ware, a prominent Southern landowner and businessman, the Foundation embodies Mr. Ware's passion for philanthropy and animal rights advocacy.

The Foundation funds it efforts through the generosity of Mr. Holland M. Ware and through the management of more than 64,000 acres of Georgia forestlands that have been donated to the Foundation. Mr. Ware, with a long history of supporting noble causes, has contributed millions to support the Holland M. Ware Charitable Foundation, cancer research facilities at Emory University, veterinary medicine at Auburn University, and scholarships to other educational institutions.  The Ware philanthropy supports many causes and spans multiple generations.
